Re: M_Boats: Creative Storage Suggestions for M17 Needed
My wife and I sail the highly desirable sea-berth/quarter-berth version of the M17, though those with the galley setup will be interested in any comments as well, as their starboard sea-berth has the same storage area/problem. Under these berths are shallow stowage areas of questionable value due to their unusual shape and low volume. Has anyone come up with a novel way to use this space? Thanks in advance for some brilliant ideas... Tom and Jane dharma bum
Dear Tom, It's absolutely amazing how much scotch you can store in those spaces. Ian M-17 the mighty "Seaweeble"

I am completely with you on that Ian. And to add to it, the bilge area on the M17 chills wine to a perfect sipping temperature... t On Tue, May 13, 2008 at 3:21 PM, Ian Black <seaweeble@hotmail.com> wrote:

Another alcohol-related suggestion. This looks like a trend... t On Tue, May 13, 2008 at 5:11 PM, Joe Murphy <seagray@embarqmail.com> wrote:

Yes, those little lockers hold lots of wine bottles in a single layer. Starboard locker wine helps balance the outboard on the port side. Port locker holds ships papers (in ziploc bags), small spares, etc. Haven't come up with anything more creative so far. --Gary On May 13, 2008, at 4:01 PM, Tom Smith wrote:
