Hi Captain Jim, My Honda 2 HP moved my old M15 at hull speed at about 2/3rds throttle. Once I also used it to move an M17, with 5 adults in the cockpit, up the Thames river against the outgoing tide. Again, no problem. Connie

look for a honda marine dealer that looks 'good.' and example of 'good' - there are a couple of honda marine stores near me here in kent, wa. the first i went to, that was very close to my home, gave me 'bad vides' when the owner and then a technician was unable to answer my questions about the items covered for yearly maintenance. the second, that is a bit further away in miles (but LOTS because of seattle area traffic) was able to answer all my questions and give other feedback. i also like this second business as they have been around for 50+ years. dave scobie M15 #288 - not yet named.
