I am currently planning a 3 day cruise on the Chesapeake for Labor day weekend. We will likely stay north of the Annapolis bay bridge to avoid the jelly fish in the lower bay. Winds permitting a possible itinerary is Sat - 16 nm to either Queenstown - very protected isolated farmland - nice orDurdin Cove in the Eastern neck Island National Wildlife refuge - no houses in sight but has a dock and ramp. Sun - back accross the bay 18 nm to Sillery Bay on the Magothy river and anchor off of White boat works in Gibson Island. This is the most expensive real estate in Maryland - the anchorage is next to an exclusive golf course and the only buidling in sight is the White boat works - beautiful.
