If someone comes up with a line drawing for the new M23 I would take 12 mediums, one for each grand kid. Fred (aka: derf)
I have a T-Shirt company 60 feet down the sidewalk from our boatshop. The guy has been bugging me for years to get some shirts going. Costs run the gamet; from cheap regular T- shirts (for $11) to higher quality (Polo shirts) for several dollars more. I didn't realize the interest was so great. I do have the lines for the M_15 (don't have a clean set for the M_17; does anyone have a set? Just need a profile drawing..... I also have the lines for the new M_23. I was thinking the way honor Jerry Montgomery is to have a line drawing of a M_15 on the front of the shirt; then perhaps a M_17 on the back. Any comments? Perhaps I will run some shirts specifically for the M_23 also. I used to sell really neat shirts for the Nor'Sea 27 and probably sold or gave away 250 of them over the years. I had three styles (once they have the silk screen pattern its easy to produce the design on various types of T-shirts or sweat shirts, etc) One style was a hooded cotten t-shirt with 3/4 length sleeves. People loved these and wore them on the water for the're added warmth and protection from those foggy, drizzling days at the marina. The other was a neat polo T-shirt that was just a regular upgraded short sleeve T-shirt. Thirdly we did run a couple of dozen long sleeved sweat shirts also. I liked them all. Let me talk about it today after lunch. Fair winds Bob Eeg (949) 489-8227 Derfsails@aol.com wrote:

Bob!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God you weighed in! I love the idea of a M15 on the front, M17 on the back . . . Is there enough interest to also specialize a 23', 8', 12'? I also love the idea of line-drawings. Again, I'm wondering if Jerry M.'s/Wayne Yeargain's collaboration on CAD lines for the M17 ever panned out (?) . . . If you created a series, I'd happily buy a couple with the M15/17, and at least one of the ____/M23 . . --Craig ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob" <Bobeeg@earthlink.net> To: "For and about Montgomery Sailboats" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Monday, February 23, 2004 2:17 PM Subject: Montgomery T-shirts I have a T-Shirt company 60 feet down the sidewalk from our boatshop. So, what should be on the T's, sweatshirts, whatever? Would Bill Sylvester's idea work, Bob? I don't have a strong opinion on design, and haven't placed an unofficial order (yet). I'm sure there will be many thoughts on design, though, and would like to suggest that, at least for the part of the owners' side of the equation, two individuals whose efforts have contributed greatly to our group, Keith Diehl and Doug King, be given the honor of choosing, if they're willing and if a choice must be made. -- John Tyner M-15 "Chimpanzee" . -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+tynerjohn=erols.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+tynerjohn=erols.com@mailman.xmission.co m]On Behalf Of Honshells Sent: Monday, February 23, 2004 9:17 PM To: For and about Montgomery Sailboats Subject: M_Boats: Design Consensus? Okay, count me in for at least two T shirts. I've been following this thread with amusement, but the count has gone astronomical and I don't want to be left behind :-) George M15 #385 On 2/23/04 5:33 PM, "Honshells" <chonshell@ia4u.net> wrote:
