Hi Tom, Yep, you need bottom paint to go over the Interprotect 2000. I used Micron CSC. Hi, Mr. Bones, Just in time with the info. I am headed into Houston on Monday to pickup the stuff I need to do the bottom work. Do I need any sort of primer on the 2000 or is it already a "primer"? Oh yeah, the coating schedule for 2000 says I need a 10mm layer of it. How many coats is that? Can I do it in one or will it sag all over the place? <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=icon> Virus-free. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=link> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2> On Sun, Mar 11, 2018 at 8:29 AM, bownez@juno.com <bownez@juno.com> wrote:

don't apply 'heavy' as besides sag you can have issues with correct drying. see this on application method/timeline (quick read states 4-5 coats so you are looking at multiple days of paintin') - http://www.yachtpaint.com/LiteratureCentre/interprotect-guide.pdf i also read the below in looking for the number of coats details and there were some statements about sanding 2000e prior to painting with some antifouls (some, not all) - http://www.yachtpaint.com/MPYACMDatasheets/Interprotect_2000E+eng-usa+A4+Y+2... the above also has an equation for figuring how much paint you'll need. :: Dave Scobie :: M17 #375 SWEET PEA - https://m17-375.com/ <http://www.m17-375.webs.com> :: Truck camper - https://truckpopupcamper.wordpress.com/ :: Ramblings - https://scoobsramblings.wordpress.com/ :: former M15 owner #288 - http://www.freewebs.com/m15-name-scred On Sun, Mar 11, 2018 at 2:15 PM, Thomas Buzzi <thomaspbuzzi@gmail.com> wrote:
