stern rail measurements - Defender Sales
thanks I found the Defender listing for the stern rails. but does any one have the measurements for either the M15 or the M17 for comparison. like height, width, the weight, metal thickness, center to center for bolting down and whether its round or square plates that are used
Mike, Busca's stern rail is off the boat but sitting where I could measure it. These are rough measurements because the tubing moves a bit when not installed. Best to check things like stanchion spacing to be sure it won't hit fittings on your boat. Stern rail measurements, according to that drawing it would fit on a M17 just fine , was it made for the M15???
Hi, Mike I sure hope it would fit an M17....otherwise it would mean that I can't read a tape measure! :o) I can't imagine that it was made for a 15; it almost certainly is original equipment on my '87 17.
