Re: Fueling Internal tank outboards (again)
Excellent idea Stephen. I have a similar device with a clear hose, sold at WalMart, that fits both the one and four quart oil jugs. I use a one quart Nalgene plastic camping stove bottle. It has a spout that inverts to store inside the bottle. The spout directs the gas into the tank and restricts spills if (when?) dropped. No clue as to mileage with the Honda, I used a gallon in four months. steve Steve R. M-15 #119 Lexington, KY --- "stephen gray" <scgray@worldnet.att.net> wrote:
This oil quart/fuel tank thing has been addressed pretty well. For what it's worth you can buy this little yellow spout thing at Pep Boys that screws onto a plastic oil bottle that allows you to turn it upside down without starting the flow until you get it into the filler hole.
