Tyler, I think the easiest solution which would not involve raking your mast even further aft would be to add a set of reef points to your jib. I put a set on a jib I had once and it worked just fine and was a snap to tie in and take out because you are talking about a very small sail. Sounds interesting to be sailing around the "moth ball fleet". Just the type of fun a small boat lets you have. Tom B
