Me, too. You have a gift for expression, Connie. I forwarded your description to my wife, a self-described "sail babe", which means she's not a sailor, but likes to go along for the ride. It looks like that area has a lot to offer us both. It occurs to me that your post is a good start for a "Places to Sail" article in the SCA. What do you think? The obvious answer is all................... All sailing is good; some is better than others on any particular day; and some can be downright miserable, until you are in a snug harbor, the hook is down; you've combed the salt crystals out of your eyebrows after a hard passage, built a Martini, and dinner is soon to be served, in your now quiet and safe little world.
Craig, Sagitas'hull ID is MMP170491074 she is Hull #49. Gilbert PS I got to reef her Sunday for the first time, it wasn't too bad since I had gone over the procedures before. Which I recommend to all of you with a new (to you) boat. I was flying the storm sail and that puppy just does not like to heave to. I managed to get her reefed and back to sailing. Eeeeehhhaaaaa gilbert
Wow! That IS an early hull! Anyone else out there with a hull earlier than 49? I'm still hoping we'll hear from the owner of an ancient fixed-keel one of these days ... And wasn't there a third M17 keel option? Someone mentioned something about a jack-screw or whatever? ----- Original Message ----- From: Gilbert Landin To: 'Craig F.
