Hi James, On my ex M15 LEPPO, I used a square restaurant type table stove that uses butane cannisters. The stove is about 12" X 12" X 3". It has piezio electric ignition. When not in use, you can release the fuel cannister and the cannister is disconnected from the stove - i.e., no fuel leakage. The size allows easy stowage. I bought it at a store chain called, "OCEAN STATE JOB LOT", in Connecticut, and paid about $19 for it. We only used it while at anchor so gimbaling was unnecessary. It is also hand for use at home for making crepes Suzette; or on car trips at rest stops for making coffee, soup, or an omelet. Restaurant supply houses sell them as well - in stainless steel - and for a lot more money. Ours is painted black, and after several years of use is none the worse for wear. Hope this helps... Connie
The wide base colman stove I use is currently on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/Coleman-Powerpack-Single-Burner-Propane-Camping-Stove-W_... The butane stove the Connie recommends is the same one I have used for 7 years and works great except for the cold weather issues I mentioned earlier.
