Hi Rich, Sound as if the leaves are still in the centerboard trunk. Any chance of getting a garden hose into the cockpit while the boat is at a dock and the CB is down? Then you could try directing a stream of water into the CB pennant hole, and hopefully flush away the leaves. Since leaves and twigs tend to float inside the CB trunk, a sail on a brisk day with decent waves, CB down, might cause your debris to be ejected via the cockpit drain hole for collection and disposal. Repeated raising and lowering of the CB might also grind them down into pieces that are small enough to eventually disappear. .....or get Harry Potter to use his "Disparo" charm .... Connie
