Why don't you buy a proper thru hull fitting and then have a lifetime without worry.
Sandyal55, good question-one that i went over quite a bit. 1] all the thru hulls that i saw were for use above the waterline 2] the difference in elevation between the cockpit and the waterline is minimal 3] i have to patch the old hole anyway so why not use it 4] the original thru hull location worked fine. ron and cathryn goodspeed M17 "hula pie" #025
