Re: M_Boats: Leech Lake Regatta, anyone?
Henry, Thanks for the heads up - Sorry to say my travel plans for this year are maxed out - just got back from a trip to FL (family reunion - sailing too). Sounds like a beautiful place and would love to get up to that part of the world (my wife went to Macalaster College in Mn) - but I can't fit it in this year. Retirement (technical retire) is coming in the next couple of years so we will keep it on the radar. Thanks for the invite Henry, I look forward to seeing you and the family crew sometime in the near future. Would be great to see Bones and Tom too. Gary O. Will be sailing with Dave, Jerry, Tyler plus Sal and Gail, and the 'Potter Racers' at CC in Monterey soon - Tyler - I will 'hand deliver' your repaired pintle at the CC - been sitting here for 6+ months ! Bad on me! ! In a message dated 7/7/2015 8:53:47 A.M. US Mountain Standard Time, heinzir@gmail.com writes: Jerry, are you still thinking about going to the Leech Lake Regatta in Minnesota in August? I'll go if you go! :-) We could probably get a contingent of Minnesota sailors up there as well anyone else willing to make the trip. Are you up to it, Dave Scobie? Sal? Gary? Tyler? Tom? Bones? Etc.? I know nothing about the regatta except what is posted on line: http://shoresofleechlake.com/leech-lake-regatta/regatta.shtml -- Henry https://picasaweb.google.com/heinzir
Well if you and Jerry aren't going I'm not going! Just kidding, but I probably will not go unless there is a good representation of M boats there. I just wanted to get modification ideas and see them implemented in other M17s. I was hoping I could get you and Jerry to critique and make suggestions on my rig tune, mast rake, deck layout, etc. Maybe next year? I would definitely bring Monita to AZ if the HPCC was still active! Henry On Thu, Jul 9, 2015 at 4:34 PM, GILASAILR--- via montgomery_boats < montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> wrote:

Henry. Come to the wrinkle boat ran tan in January at Lake Pleasant Arizona. 4 years running and a dozen boats show each time. Bring yours and make it lucky 13. :: Dave Scobie On Jul 15, 2015 8:18 PM, "Henry Rodriguez" <heinzir@gmail.com> wrote:
