at video editing and the youtube dealie. Yesterdays sailing. The lady in the vid is my wife Daphne and the two guys at the dock were there when we came back in. They were planning to go sailing (on Mikes boat) but never did leave the dock. He has a 26 foot Somethingorother. The video is taken after we had bashed away to windward for a coupla hours and got too wet to enjoy the day in sub 50 degree temps. Once back at the dock I measured 15-20 knots solid with gusts to 25. On the water we experienced a few gusts (25 plus I am thinking) that seriously threatened our light jib. That and the wet /cold was a great reason to head back downhill and on into the launch ramp. Unfortunately when it is blowing South we sail pretty well off of a lee shore. We love the North winds. A fun day all in all. This time last year it was a lot colder and I think there was snow on the ground already. This warmer (a relative term) weather is a gift for sure. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE6_ZXSc4Yc Cheers, Tim D Kelowna BC M17 369 'Puff'.
