With respect to the 17 on Craigslist in Morro Bay... I have been in contact with Kathryn who owns the boat and been set to pick it up since before it went up on this board. This Saturday I am scheduled to head over there to get it. That being said...it's a project boat. If someone wants to contact her and give her a better deal to grab it...go for it, but do it soon. I was loading the camper on the truck today in preparation for the trip over there to get it on Sat. Just know that you are looking what appears to be a complete ballast replacement. Yes, you could cut off the keel and go down that road....but ...uh....wow....it's been done and done very successfully by Stan the Man ...but that is not a job for the faint of heart! That would for sure be over and above my job qualifications, or frankly, desire to get involved with. LOL Sean
hey guy's , you don't have to fight over that boat just drive to panama city fl. with the spring breakers and get mine with the hard work done [ the old iron ballast is gone and is ready for new LEAD ] my new lead was stolen and I'm not investing in more . happy sailing doug On Sunday, March 23, 2014 3:35 PM, "Nebwest2@aol.com" <Nebwest2@aol.com> wrote: With respect to the 17 on Craigslist in Morro Bay...
