The June one was good but hotter and less wind. This year we got on the lake the 13th and off the 20th, I think. I bet fall would be nice but I wonder if there would be much wind. I made a 7 day solo trip in October a few years ago. The temperatures were perfect but the wind forecast was so light I did not even take the mast. Had a great trip even though there was no wind. I launched from Hall's crossing and headed east trying to avoid high motorboat traffic. I am thinking of taking my rowing/sailing NE Dory there next year.
