I am now the proud owner of a M17 hull # 646 Strawanza renamed Warowlua. I think I will name her Strawanza again. I towed her back yesterday and I have pulled everything out of the cabin to see what is there and what is missing. She has not been sailed for about 7 years now so the odd bit has fallen off ,lost or has been sold I am an ex Zimbawean and have been living in New Zealand for the last 14 years. My closest sailing water is New Plymouth and I've just join the New Plymouth Yacht Club. I built a 15ft plywood dinghy from which I learned to sail in protected harbor waters . So I'm still a novice but there is no shortage of advice her in New Zealand. . Congratulations Geoff! Are there any other Montys in NZ that you know of? I sailed with a guy this past fall in the SF Bay whose brother (IIRC) was somewhere in NZ and wanted one but said there weren't any to be had. Unless you've got a relative in the SF Bay area who owns a Wharram Tiki 21...then maybe that's you...! cheers, John S. On 01/11/2016 12:28 PM, G & P Otterson wrote:
