Re: M_Boats: Fuel Cells for small boats

I saw an ad for a 12 V portable fuel cell for a small boat, about the size of a briefcase. Had a 2.5 (?) gallon tank of liquid methanol for fuel that connected to the unit by a small hose. I forgot the capacity but it would output a number of amps and would provide the power for a several weeks trip in an M-15 or M17 or for a camping trip. You could store extra fuel forward and run the unit in the cabin. The ad didn't say what the cost was. Don
