A late response to the thread on ventilation: I just set up a boom tent over the cabin entrance and keep the leave the hatchboards out and the hatch cover open too, if necessary. Make a screen for your forward hatch using a fabric screening and velcro. A cheap and relatively easy fix if you own a sabre saw and scissors.
