How else will we get entertainment at the docks, Howard? With a hot battery, it would get her up to about 3+ knots. I quit using it after a day when I could not get back into my slip in 20 knot plus headwind with a weak battery that eventually gave out. When the wind is blowing, you can always sail, but I'm not good enough to short tack up 100 yards+ in the 50 feet or so between marina and shore....then beam reach 50 yards, luff up and some somehow hit a tight slip downwind....at least not single handed.....without doing some damage to boat or dock. Nice, huh?
One day I'd like to try a 2 hp on Busca, just to see how good/bad it would be. Sure would be nice to lug 27# to and from the bed of the p/u instead of 68# (or however much the 5 hp weighs).
