Well, we finally made it back to the east coast. Drove into Portland, Maine this evening, and tomorrow the original Miss T flys in for a week of sightseeing and lobster eating. The trip across the northern part of the US was a deja vu experience since I lived in Montana for 20 years and got started in sailing while I was there. Miss T sailed for a few days on Canyon Ferry reservoir near Helena Montana, which was her "home" water for 4 years back in the late 1980s. We also sailed at the Apostle Islands near Bayfield, Wisconsin. This is the first time I sailed Miss T there, but the original Miss T and I chartered there in 1989. A week sailing there wasn't near enough time to see it all, so that is one of the places I plan to return to sometime soon. Due to time constraints, I had to skip the North Shore area of Lake Huron, but I did stop and take a look as I travelled across southern Canada. It is also on my "must do" list. Old Blue developed rear axel problems while in Ontario, but is running great now. The plan now is to sail some in Maine, then trailer to Mystic CN are and sail for a few days. It would be great if anyone can get free to sail a few days in company. Just send me an email and let me know. John Edwards Miss T M17 # 372
