My name is Arnold Haskin, while I am new to the MSOG, I have owned an M-17 for about 10 years. I spend Summers in the Northwest and Winters in Southern California. I am exploring the possible interest in a rondezvous for 2005, at the Port of Brownsville in Washington State (check the Port of Brownville website for pictures and information). The Port has excellent facilities for trailer boat, including trailer parking. The Port is located West of Bainbridge Island about 20 miles as the crow flies from Seattle. There are a number of good cruising destinations in the immediate area, and it is convenient to Port Townsend or the San Juans. A cruise to Poulsbo would be 1.5 to 2 hours travel time as an example. There is a party pavillion, barbecue area and camping area as well. The Port is a popular cruising destinations so reservations for the the Summer of 2005 should be made as soon as possible. Please e-mail me prior to Oct 10, 2004, if you would like to express a preference for event dates. I will proceed if I get 10 or more responses. Thanks.
