I just use a line secured to the top shackle on the jib and then through a block secured to the stemhead and then through a fairlead on the cabin top.........works fine, every time..... BTW,,,,has anybody suspended an M17 by the aluminum toe rails ?.....or is it saver to use the chainplates.......I need to lift mine off the trailer to check the CB and repaint the bottom. Has anybody ever done that? I see how it works, but I'd think there would be significant friction/resistance using the rings. I'd also think just gathering the foresail to the stay would create quite a bit of windage. Any other thoughts, or better yet, is anyone doing this? t On 4/11/07, W David Scobie <wdscobie@yahoo.com> wrote:
