My M17 is one of the origonal fin keel models with 39" draft so, I need a dinghy to get ashore. When I got the boat from my brother, it came with a 9 foot "Fatty Knees" (Lyle Hess designed lapstrake). It tows like a dream and is very easy to row or sail. It is a bit heavy at 85 pounds but I can load it on the top rack of my Pontiac Torrent by myself using a roller on the rear cross bar. The boat is still in production by Eady & Duff and is a real quality bit of work. Ron M17 #14 Griselda

I'm thinking about one of the little pram montys the 6-8.? Also, If you were to move up would anyone get a Nor'sea 27?? A guy in my town has one he is restoring (ready in two years or so).? It would be a good time for me to put in a bid since then I could get some choice as to interior.? It's an Aft Cockpit, I like Aft Cockpits but they tend to not be as popular as the Aft Cabin.?
