Hi David, Thanks for all the insight into the M17 achieving a "hoven state". (is that a correct word?) Years ago, I read a NorSea newsletter written by Dean Wixom, (Herritage Marine), in which he stated disregard everything you know about heaving to when it comes to the NS27, a jib is not employed, the condition is achieved with the main sail alone. If I'm ever aboard an NS27 again in sporty wind conditions, I'd like to try it. Keep your posts coming! Thanks, Bones ____________________________________________________________ Click now to find the credit card you need to get the frequent flyer miles you want! http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL2141/fc/BLSrjpTKGuSpn8M9ULD9GP9lD7yaNXns...
