Hi 95 is your hull number. You will need (if you don't have anything else) a Manufactures Certificate of Origin that has that MMP number on it. After the boat is registered you're pink slip will arrive in the mail and it will have a State VIN number on it. Bob Sent from my iPad

I have a 1976 M17. MMP170950376. I am, after much delay, getting her registered. Some of my paper work shows the VIN as #95 which is the haul #. I am getting a new title for the boat. Titles were not required where it came from. Is this haul # a serial # or a model #. Is it unique to my boat, or does it indicate a haul design? I probably should use the whole # for the VIN. Any opinions? Also – the paper work identifies this boat, bought new in 1976, as a Sea King Montgomery. Does this make any sense to anyone? I’ve never heard these referred to as “Sea King”.
