Bob, That's a very nice set up. He did a nice job following up with the trim work. I'm guessing the 360 oval bulkhead provided enough support to eliminate the compression post?? How are the quarter berths set up? I can't roll over completely in the starboard berth and the length isn't long enough in the port berth. In recent times (last year) we built a new Montgomery 17 for singlehanded use..only the two quarter berths with a centerline head forward; several oval shaped bulkheads with the V berth entirely removed. A galley area and 4 bronze opening ports.
Simple yet functional for it's intented use. I do have photos of the interior infastructure for those interested in this project.
