Bill: Gee, maybe you'd like to trade you M17 for my M15! I have 6 sails and genoa tracks and lines led to the cockpit and lights and a build in sound system. Let me know! --Gary Hyde M15 #235 'Vanilla' N24 'Sailabration' On Friday, September 10, 2004, at 06:45 PM, BILLAMICASR@aol.com wrote:
Hi All, Just received my Sept / Oct issuer of Small Craft Advisor Sailing Rag (magazine). What a treat... They did the review of the M-15 and boy was it glowing!!! I wont spoil the reading fun for those still awaiting their copy of SCA... But, suffice to say, they (SCA) didn't find much wrong with the M-15 and had lots of good comments about the construction, sea-worthy-ness, Cabin and sailing quality As well as resale value and lots more... There was a few mentions about the modifications we (sailors) make. And I believe there was mention of Connie, Bill Hartwick, John Harris, and my M-Boat mentor Bob Becker & more... Makes me want to save some money for an M-15... Alas, I'll just have to tough it out with my M-17. Hey, BTW... There is a full page line drawing of good quality of the M-15 in this issue (would look fine on a T-shirt). Haven't spent much time on the Internet as of late (regretfully) Been working - got over 60 hours in this week. When the rains come, I'll head for warmer climates. Bill - SF Bay Area M-17 #496 "Tiperary" PS... There must have been other stuff in this issue... But, I haven't paid much attention to it as yet. _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
