Todd Mills is a good guy and he posts on the 'Montgomery Sailboats' forum on Facebook. It's a good group but yeah, you have to join Facebook. I have Facebook because I have Kids and Grandkids I like seeing and communicating with. If you don't like Facebook because of privacy issues just join with name and no photo if you like or a photo of your boat. That would give you access without any worries. David Grah posts some cool stuff including videos on the 'Montgomery Sailboats' Facebook and others of course. I think Mack Warner started it and there are 123 members. It's all about our boats and plenty of good photos you can look at or post your own photos. Many thanks to Keith and Happy Birthday! I subscribed to the paper newsletter and came on board when Keith opened for business. Late 98 or 99. I remember we had a Lyle Hess Fest in Maryland. I think it was 2003 and Gary V was there with 7 or 8 Montgomery's sailing in. I was with my friends Bernie and Kate from Roguewave in Annapolis. They owned a BBC 28. Several BBC 28s attended and a Falmouth Cutter, several NorSea 27s......all Lyle Hess Boats. What fun. We met at 'Vera's White Sand Beach Club' a really nice place with good food. Incredible get together and party. Vera was kind of a celebrity and she eventually made her entrance like Nora Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. She was dressed like a Gypsy, probably 80 years old. Very sweet and friendly. Here she is.....
