Well, I made it to Mystic CN in good shape. The whole time in Maine was fantastic with good weather (mostly) and great sailing. The only effect from Isabel was a nasty chop/swell out in the open water. One idle day was spent on a mooring in Sommes Harbor, due to dense fog (a great day for reading). Managed to sail alongside the big 4 masted schooner out of Bar Harbor - well at least for a short distance anyway. Sailed through all the Hinckley boats on moorings, beautiful, expensive, and seldom day-sailed. Ran into two guys who recognizedd Miss T as a Montomery and talked quite a bit about quality/price/class/cost of sailboats and we agreed on one thing for sure, the larger the boat, the less time spent actually sailing. There may be two new Montgomery owners shortly. Miss T will be launched tomorrow and the plan is to sail this area (Mystic - Nantuckett - Block Island and beyond) depending on weather. Then on to the Chesapeake.
