I've run my halyard back to the cockpit. I used a single block mounted to the coach roof and turned it back to a spinlock jamb. It works real well. I've been very happy with it. I have a CDI furler so I don't use the jib halyard. If I can figure out how to send pictures, I will. I mounted all my reefing hardware and lines on the boom which has been very simple and easy to use. Has anyone run their halyards aft on their M17? I'd intended to use a pair of double pulley deck organizers to make the turn aft but am finding they fit awkwardly between the hand rails and hatch slides on the cabin roof. I'm thinking I have room for only a single cheek block on each side of the cabin roof. I had hoped to run halyards and reefing lines to the cockpit. I'm now thinking maybe I'll only run the Halyards back, and put the reefing line on the boom. Any input? I also think if I do boom mounted reefing line I might use a hook on a line turning through a cheek block to a cleat on the boom.
