For an example of a fairly well conceived, well run sailboat marque enthusiasts' forum check out the main area of the Cape Dory forum. http://capedory.org/board/viewforum.php?f=10 It has four subforums (there are more in other areas but most of them would not concern us). We could get by with only two: general discussion and classifieds. Whether to break out things like photos, projects, and cruise/race/social event announcements and reports is just a matter of consensus. Speaking of classifieds, no one has mentioned it yet, but that feature alone could justify the move to a forum format (yes, I've seen the classifieds on the MSOG site). ----- Original Message ----- From: "Thomas Buzzi" <thomaspbuzzi@gmail.com> To: "For and about Montgomery Sailboats" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, January 28, 2016 1:42:25 PM Subject: Re: M_Boats: forum or email Surprising! <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> This email has been sent from a virus-free computer protected by Avast. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> <#DDB4FAA8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2> On Thu, Jan 28, 2016 at 12:35 PM, Keith Diehl <kdiehl@xmission.com> wrote:
