Ron, It's good to hear that things are moving along in the right direction for you. Unbeknownst to Bob at the time, it was my M17 boat that was delivered August 3rd with the inferior foam inserts along with fabric that was poorly stitched and cut. Bob agreed that the cushions were not up to his standards and would replace them with a new vinyl set. Although I don't expect him to personally deliver the new cushions to me way up in San Francisco (like he promised you in San Diego), I am looking forward to receiving them sometime within the next two weeks. Like you said, Montgomery Boats are great. Once we both get our cushions (and your sails), I bet they'll be even better. "Pony Engine" is now officially CF registered and will be launched this week. Once in the water, she'll be floated down to Svendsen's Metal Works where I hope they can readily fabricate and attach the stern pulpits. It's been a long & interesting adventure.
