Tom, For most of my cruising, I tow a small sea kayak. I enjoy exploring the anchorages, coves, and islands, and a kayak tows very easily. If I have two people on boat, an inflatable two man kayak works well. A rechargeable 12V. pump inflates and deflates it in a couple minutes and it is easy to store on board. Doesn't paddle as well as a hard shell kayak, of course, but is still a good option. Larry On Sun, 08 Mar 2009 13:17:41 -0700 "Tom Jenkins" <tjenk@gte.net> writes:
Hi all, I imagine that you who do overnighters drag along some sort of dinghy to access shore, so I would appreciate your conveying your experiences as to what type of two-person craft a Montgomery 17 can pull comfortably under various sailing conditions. Thanks, Tom Jenkins M17 Scintilla _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
