Welcome, Michael, I used a 3.5 gallon plastic bucket, adapted a regular toilet seat to it. I also use those porta potty bags with absorbent and disinfectant already in them. Good for wife who can't pee over the lee rail. When done, just close them up and discard ashore. <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=icon> Virus-free. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail&utm_term=link> <#DAB4FAD8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2> On Thu, May 23, 2019 at 1:46 AM Michael Murphy <paulaandmike48@gmail.com> wrote:
Michael, you mighty also look at a galvanized grain bucket. I found mine at Tractor Supply Co. It fits in the base of my M-15. Because of its size, I found that I don't have to use a toilet seat. I had the folding 3-legged stool for a couple of years but it couldn't stand up to use in a heeling, rocking boat.

Fellow Montgomery owners, Recently purchased a 1978 M17 stored in former owners backyard, under tarp, for 26 years. I have refinished all teak, replaced all running rigging, and applied wax and polish. She looks great! My wife and I sail in Sequim Bay, Olympic Peninsula, Washington. Our only problem is locating a porta potty that fits in the molded base beneath the v berth; any suggestions would be appreciated.
