M_Boats: Head Stay

I just discovered that my M 15 head stay has five broken strands. I know I need to replace the stay but until I can get a new one and install it what are your thoughts about sailing with the diminished head stay? Also who should I order the new head stay from? Thank you, Willy Gorrissen M 15 606
