Bill, I don't believe he was "between the bridge pylons". If you look at the pictures closer you will see he was between the south (I am told) pylon and the shore. Did you see the entire sequence of pictures? There were 113 sequential shots of this event. Some people who know the area have said that there is a very shallow area between the south pylon and the shore. That would account for the breaking wave in that spot when it seems there are no breaking waves anywhere else. Rik Woodsybill@aol.com wrote:
