M_Boats: standing rigging

OK, I have enjoyed this discussion regarding the mast rake. I have looked at the photo site, and some of the boats have the shrouds connected to the forward hole on the deck plate, and some have the shrouds connected to the aft hole. So, which is it??? Daniel
