M_Boats: centerboard pin

Greetings, I have a 2004 M17, and following a week in San Diego Bay I noticed what appears to new rust stain around the centerboard pin on one side. Is there something in the hidden apparatus to be concerned about? I know the pin is stainless, and stainless can rust a bit, but it has never happened on longer immersions in salt water.
