Tod and all.  I agree about the stanchions.  If you look on page 176 of the September issue of Latitude 38 [I know you don't all have access] there is a picture of a family standing behind the stanchions on a Kelly Peterson 46.  Those stanchions are the 'right height' to be life savers.  They are at the top of Chay McWilliams Legs.  They must be about 26" high.  Can you imagine what that would look like on my M17?  I'd rather wear a harness when things get difficult!
