I use LED's and yes, they are waterproof and you don't have to unplug at launch because they don't get hot and crack. They are the best way to go IMHO. --Gary Hyde 2005 M17 sailboat #637 'Hydeaway 2' We can't change the wind, but we can trim our sails. Sailing is like "African Queening" thru life. What are you skippers using for trailer lights. I now have a light bar that I take off at launch time. The problem is that it has been known to come off the trailer when hauling the boat and drag down the hwy pulled by the wires :(.
Any one using LED's ? Are they waterproof? Where do you skippers get them.
