In order to make my M15 a better single handed boat, I'm having my regular spinnaker cut so it will be asymmetrical. This will eliminate the spinnaker pole. Has anyone setup an asymmetrical spinnaker? I've seen web sites showing how to connect the asymmetrical spinnaker to a roller fuller with a bead setup which allow the spinnaker to glide up and down the furler. But, I don't see any other way illustrated. One site talks about using a Genoa halyard. I suppose this means that a second halyard is added in order to support the spinnaker. The question I have is: What does the asymmetrical tack connect to? Since I'm trying to stay in the cockpit, I don't want to go forward and connect the spinnaker to the headstay. Any thoughts?
