Hi Chee, I don't think there should be any moisture inside the hull. Unless you are describing condensation of some sort. Without leaks there should normally not be water in the hull area anywhere. Was there a puddle of water or standing water? Are the cushions wet? If the boat has not been recently sailed the water has to be leaking through the deck I would think and there may be tell tale streaks showing where it has been leaking. The Hull ID should be on the starboard side of the transom (right side of the back of the boat) on the exterior. Hope this helps, Robbin Chee Pang Chua wrote:
Hello,
I am tried to buy a used M-15 from a local seller. When I inspected the inner hull, from the cabin front hull access opening, I found the front inner hull area is wet. According to the owner, the boat was last sail 4 years ago. Is the front inner hull damp condition normal ? or there are some leaking ?
Also, can someone tell me where is the M-15 HIN located ? Owner and I searched the entire hull, and not able to locate it.
Thanks a lot.
