Hi Rusty, My teak toe rail is about 1 1/4" high. It was cut it to about 3/8" high when I installed my chocks, but it wasn't wide enough to mount the chocks. To form a base that matched the base of the chocks I added some teak pieces - bedded to the rail and the deck. Then I drilled the mounting holes for the chocks oversize; filled them with thickened epoxy; and re drilled them to the correct size. The reason for doing this is to seal the balsa sandwich deck structure and to preclude any water getting into the balsa core via the bolts holding the chocks. Connie
