      Thank so much John for taking the time to follow up! 

I asked a surveyor I know if she had any suggestions.  One call led me to a
fellow who is a 

shipping broker and he spent the better part of a day in communication with
me and found a good match!  

The boat was picked up the following day. She is here safe and sound and I
am thrilled! J

Really appreciate all who chimed in with suggestions!

Just thought I'd chime in on this one.  A few years back I too used a
shipper I found through u-ship.  I'd bought a Catalina 25 in upstate New
York for my sailing club and needed to ship it to Annapolis MD.  The shipper
I found through that site was excellent.  He delivered the boat on-time, in
good condition and for a very reasonable price.  I would highly recommend
giving this site a try.
