Hey folks, If you use latitude as a guide, you certainly are in SOCAL! The SOCAL Potters does sound like a great group to join on trips. I have seen their website and that Fu Shing Pan had joined them on trips. However, I wasn't sure whether he had a special dispensation, or whether they regularly welcomed non-Potters to join them. Can Monty owners actually join their association, or just join them for a specific trip? Thanks also for the link to your website. The trip photos were great. Your M 23 is beautiful. I don't know of any organized Monty specific events, but a number of us hook up occasionally with the Socal Potters group to argue over who has the best boats. (ok, ok we don't actually argue! just get together and have a great time.) We are taking Dauntless over to join them in their Anacapa Island sail out of Channel Islands Harbor in two weeks. I believe that Norm Bundeck is also going to try to make it with his M15. We had a great time last year. Fu Shing Pan also brings his Mboat and joins the group very regularly. Every month the group sails out of another Socal venue. Here's a link to our webpage from last years trip. The group split in half with some of us sailing up to Ventura for lunch and sightseeing and the rest of the group heading out to the islands.
