Didn't know the fur-trapper connection . . . That's excellent . . . Perhaps
I should show up with a bateau! :-)

Rendezvous
Steve,
Rondezvous is an ancient celtic word
meaning:" The man can't type". I can spell, it's just that my fingers
are dyslexic. Rendezvous on the other hand, is a french word meaning a
pre-arranged meeting or a particular place. It was the term used for the
annual get-to-gether of fur trappers in the early 1800s. Their rendezvous was
a wild drunken brawling hagging spree where they also did a bit of fur
trading. Ours should be a wee bit more tame, and all you need to bring
is everything you need for the trip. There are a few restaurants in the
area, and some land based sight seeing opportunities. I'll get more info
online shortly.
