Congrats on getting Midnight Passage home, Joe! That black hull looks beautiful. I hope you will have as much fun as I have sailing Monty's. They are truly fabulous boats. .......and Bones.....I think you are right..that does look like a green 23 in the background. There must be another lucky 23 owner in the making! Had Dauntless out today in 15-20 knots. Still learning her characteristics. She sails like a much larger boat than the other 23's I've had. The harder it blows the better she likes it (like every other Monty!). Finishing up replaceing all the exterior teak, except the handrails. Ever try to find a set of 10 loop teak handrails? I gave up. Removed 'em, stripped 'em, rebedded, plugged, and oiled. Everything else, hatch slides, eyebrowes, strips on top of hatch, and weather board slots all replaced. It sure is nice to finally have her at the point that even though the projects continue we can go sailing 3-4 times a week! woohoo! Sailing season is just kicking in here in the Southwest Deserts. Finally!!! Hey Larry! How 'bout San Juans '07?????????? We're keeping our fingers crossed! Sean
