M_Boats: Bowsprit on an M17?

Has anyone built or added a bowsprit on their M17? I want to add an additional furler for a geneker forward of the furling drum on my genoa. There is not enough room for both between the fitting and the pulpit. I envision coming forward of the pulpit on a sprit to gain clearance for both and avoid wrapping things. I already have a masthead crane fabrication outlined to avoid halyard wrap with the forestay extrusion. thanks , bruce
