Tom, My '74 M-17 #53 spurts out the cb pennant exit from the trunk too. It came with a "duct tape stand pipe" that mitigates the problem and remains in service. A new bushing is the right way to do it. I also often accumulate water in the cockpit sole. Clarence Andrews' suggestion to recore it from the top and raise the sole 3" is a good one, particularly for my boat with a delaminated sole that creeks and crackles. Pete Brown, Pegasus
